Recently, SAHA EXPO 2026 International Aviation & Defense Exhibition was held in Istanbul, Turkey. Centering on the forming demands of complex forgings in aviation, aerospace and military industries, Newwish showcased servo direct-drive electric screw presses and comprehensive die forging solutions at the event, conducting in-depth exchanges with industry clients worldwide.

As one of Turkey’s largest and most international defense and aerospace exhibitions, SAHA EXPO has become a vital platform for manufacturing exchanges across Europe, the Middle East and Asia. This edition gathers over 1,700 enterprises from more than 120 countries, facilitating extensive discussions focusing on high-end equipment, independent manufacturing capacity and industrial chain collaboration.

During the communication, we noticed that with the continuous development of aero-engines, gas turbines, unmanned equipment and new-generation aircraft, the industry demand for precision forming of hard-to-deform materials such as superalloys and titanium alloys is rising rapidly. Meanwhile, an increasing number of enterprises are shifting from purchasing standalone equipment to focusing on the stability, continuous production capacity, automatic coordination and digital management capabilities in the mass production of complex forgings.

Focusing on these practical demands, Newwish showcased on-site integrated die forging solutions involving equipment, processes, automation, digitalization and intelligent technologies, as well as multiple typical application cases, which drew wide attention. During the event, numerous enterprises had in-depth discussions with Newwish concerning continuous production of complex forgings, automated coordination and production line upgrading in light of their project requirements, and gained further insight into Newwish’s professional engineering capabilities and practical project experience.

After the exhibition, Newwish was invited to conduct field visits and technical exchanges with many local enterprises in Turkey, to further learn about the local manufacturing industry development status and market demands.

Turkey boasts a relatively complete industrial manufacturing system and stands as one of the key countries with vibrant manufacturing capabilities near Europe.
