Back in the 2010s, with the in-depth implementation of national strategies such as Made in China 2025, the manufacturing industry accelerated its transformation toward automation, intelligence and green development, bringing new opportunities for equipment upgrading in the forging sector. In 2016, responding to market demand for high-end industrial mother machines, Newwish took the lead in launching the J58ZK series servo direct-drive CNC electric screw press. This innovation ushered the electric screw press into the servo direct-drive era and laid a solid technical foundation for the intelligent upgrading of forging equipment.
Rising demand for larger, more complex, higher-performance and integrated forgings from key sectors including aerospace and automobiles has made large-scale forging & pressing equipment an inevitable industry trend. Leveraging its strengths in servo direct-drive technology, Newwish has continuously developed heavy-duty large-scale equipment. In 2023, it delivered China’s first and largest 4,000-ton servo direct-drive electric screw press, followed by the world’s largest 6,300-ton domestic servo direct-drive electric screw press in 2024.
2026 marks the 10th anniversary of Newwish’s servo direct-drive electric screw presses hitting the market. The newly unveiled 10,000-ton servo direct-drive CNC electric screw press represents a major innovation achievement from the company’s consistent R&D along two technical paths: servoization and large-scale manufacturing. It delivers a maximum blow force of 200,000 kN and breaks through multiple core key technologies for ultra-large servo direct-drive precision forming equipment. All core components including CNC systems, servo drives and servo motors adopt 100% domestic supporting parts. It provides brand-new technical support for independent innovation of high-end forming equipment and the localization of heavy-duty forging & pressing equipment in China.
During the conference, Newwish held in-depth exchanges with industry experts and enterprise representatives on topics including the development of large die forging equipment, intelligent manufacturing upgrading and future industrial applications.
