On September 4th, Changjiang Daily reported the latest progress of the Newwish 10,000-ton servo direct-drive CNC electric screw press project in a front-page headline. Since its independent development, this 10,000-ton-class industrial mother machine has continuously attracted industry attention and has become the world’s largest in the field of large-tonnage high-end forging equipment.

At the customer site, Newwish 10,000-ton-class equipment successively completed multiple performance tests, including striking force, repetitive control accuracy, and number of strokes, with all indicators reaching internationally advanced levels.

For high-end manufacturing sectors such as aerospace, large, high-performance forgings are an important foundation for manufacturing major equipment, while high-end forging equipment serves as the industrial mother machine supporting the manufacturing of these products. Newwish hopes to provide more solid equipment support for high-end aviation manufacturing fields such as aircraft engines and large aircraft through continuous breakthroughs in equipment capabilities.


Aviation manufacturing places higher demands on the manufacturing capability of large, high-performance forgings, and corresponding forging equipment must also possess matching tonnage, control capabilities, and system stability. In response to the operational requirements of ultra-large tonnage equipment, Newwish carried out overall design, integration, and matching around control, drive, and mechanical systems, and adopted a self-developed dedicated CNC system. This project further reflects Newwish's capabilities in the R&D, system integration, and engineering application of large-scale forging equipment.

The completion of performance verification for 10,000-ton-class equipment does not mean the end of the work. In the next stage, Newwish will also jointly carry out product process verification with customers, further advancing the equipment into the manufacturing process of large aviation forgings and subjecting it to higher-level inspections.

High-performance products require the support of high-performance equipment, and high-performance equipment also needs to be continuously verified in the manufacturing of high-grade products. For a 10,000-ton-class forging equipment, the transition from equipment performance verification to product process verification is an important process for further expanding its practical application capabilities.
