10,000-ton Forging Equipment Achieves Zero Transmission Loss; Wuhan Enterprise’s Products Sold Worldwide

On July 24, the headquarters project of Wuhan Newwish Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Newwish) and the project for 10,000-ton servo direct-drive CNC electric screw press settled in Optics Valley, which is scheduled to be put into operation in August next year.

In June, Newwish launched its new product, the world’s first and largest 10,000-ton servo direct-drive CNC electric screw press, with a maximum impact force of 20,000 tons. Yu Jun, Technical Director of Newwish, stated: “As a core industrial mother machine for high-end precision die forging, this equipment targets key national equipment sectors including aero-engines and nuclear power facilities. It meets the precision forming requirements of high-performance, high-precision, large-scale complex forgings such as aero-engine fan blades, gas turbine blades and large die-forged structural parts.”

Previously, similar ultra-large-tonnage high-end forging equipment had long relied on imports, featuring high procurement costs, long delivery cycles and restricted access to core technologies. At present, all core components of Newwish’s 10,000-ton servo direct-drive CNC electric screw press have achieved 100% domestic supply. “With the same tonnage and main configurations, the overall procurement cost of our equipment is remarkably lower than overseas counterparts,” said Zhang Huicen.
